Hello and God bless for all that read this Plea for donations and assistance and prayers:
On April 22 2013, Josh Irino was taken to Thunderbird Hospital because he was unable to breathe. From December, 2012 through April 22, 2013, Josh had been treated at Thunderbird Hospital for pneumonia and was given antibiotics and sent home several times. However, during this visit to the ER, the Doctors decided to perform a cat-scan to see what really was going on with him.
The test results came back that Josh had lung cancer, not pneumonia and in addition, Josh now also has a collapsed left lung. (If the hospital had performed a cat-scan for the size of the mass that was found back in December of 2012, Josh could have applied for ACCHESS health Insurance and been approved).
Two months ago, Jane Brewer, the Governor of Arizona signed in an executive order prohibiting anyone without children from being approved for ACCHESS Health Insurance, which is the State Insurance in Arizona.
This last week, Josh was given the news that he was denied health insurance because he has no children and he was released from Thunderbird Hospital, with lung cancer and a collapsed left lung.
His immediate need is a (P.E.T Scan) to identify his stage of cancer and to help evaluate what treatment course is recommended. We have now raised enough money for the PET scan.
We want to thank all of you all who have donated! At this time, we are resubmitting paperwork for insurance or SSI and Josh is now able to use the funds that were donated this week to continue seeking treatment which includes the PET scan. The Doctor’s appointments are expensive, the medication is expensive and this is all coming out of pocket.
UPDATE: 05/03/2013
The first round of donations raised enough for the PET scan and Doctor appointments this week. Thank you all. We are now entering Phase two of our donation drive as it appears SSI is not going to come through anytime soon.
Please spread the word with your friends, Churches and coworkers. Your donation can quite literally save a life.
Sincerely yours the Irino family, PROPERTY SIX and Friends.
